学报以“高新技术、高水平、高质量、高标准”为办刊宗旨，依据国内外学术动态，结合我院的特色与优势，逐步形成了以理论与应用相结合的办刊方针，并围绕“自然科学基础理论与工程技术应用”的主要内容，建立起了以物理学、化学、材料学、生物学为主的科学研究体系，形成了相对完整的学科体系。

学报以“高新技术、高水平、高质量、高标准”为办刊宗旨，依据国内外学术动态，结合我院的特色与优势，逐步形成了以理论与应用相结合的办刊方针，并围绕“自然科学基础理论与工程技术应用”的主要内容，建立起了以物理学、化学、材料学、生物学为主的科学研究体系，形成了相对完整的学科体系。

Xidian University Journal of Research is one of the most prestigious academic journals in China. It was founded in 1991 and has gone through more than ten years of development. Now it has become an international, comprehensive and highly academic journal.

The Journal takes "high technology, high level, high quality and high standard" as its aim. It has gradually formed the policy of combining theory with application according to the domestic and international academic trends, combined with the characteristics and advantages of our school, and focused on the main contents of "natural science foundation theory and engineering technology application". It has established a scientific research system with physics, chemistry, materials science and biology as the mainstay, and formed a relatively complete disciplinary system.
