To celebrate the 38th anniversary of Guangdong Provincial Water Conservancy and Electric Power Vocational Technical College (GDWCEPVTC), on the morning of September 20, 2024, leaders of the provincial and municipal water conservancy bureaus, GDWCEPVTC, Guangdong Power Grid Corporation and China Southern Power Grid Corporation, as well as representatives of alumni and faculty members, gathered at the school to participate in the celebration.

At the celebration, Xu Yong, deputy secretary-general of the Provincial Government, and Dong Tao, deputy secretary of Municipal Party Committee and mayor of Foshan, made speeches. They fully affirmed GDWCEPVTC’s achievements in water conservancy and hydropower education over the past 38 years, and expressed warm congratulations on the school’s further development. They also hoped that GDWCEPVTC will take the opportunity of its 38th anniversary to take stock of its achievements, continue to explore and innovate, and put forward new development ideas, so as to provide strong technical support for the development of Guangdong’s water conservancy and hydropower industry.
